Went to one of my favorite places to get an expensive fix today, Mac. LOVE Mac, but why must they steal my whole paycheck? But you know what? I’m getting married and my black Mac eyelines is down to a nub.
I picked up some Prussian blue eyeliner (I have lots of blue in my wedding look) to add to my single-eyelines collection. Also on the eyes is an Estee Lauder eyeshadow in Fog I bought before I left the Army back in…2002? Oh wow. That’s 10 years worth of eyeshadow. The there’s the Champagne Tigi eyeshadow – Tigi makes unbelievable high-intensity eyeshadows, and they make you SPARKLE. It’s all topped off with Maybelline The Falsies mascara, which is the balls-out best mascara I have ever used.
I also bought a blush, which I do not own a single one of. It was $20. I was thinking about it though – if that eyeshadow, which is half the size of the blush, and which I use all the time, is still standing, I might end up paying a buck a year for that blush. I can totally rationalize that.
And hey, I also picked up a lipstick and lipliner! I don’t really wear that stuff ever, but for my wedding day with all those pictures and such, I might as well do it up a little bit. I’m going to do one more trial run, and this time I’ll get a good clear picture. It was a busy day.
