A Rainbow of Weddings!

This last week in Chicago was full of rainbow love.

Between Chicago Gay Pride, our (really late) rainbow engagement shoot and my leetle seester’s (of Rainbow Wedding fame) bachelorette party, my head has been all a-rainbow. To keep the flamingly happy vibes coming, I gathered up a whole mess of rainbow wedding inspiration that I have been stalking for some time now.

Feel the rainbow, share the rainbow, love the rainbow! But do not taste the rainbow. Licking the bride and groom is considered inappropriate in most circles.

And if you keep reading to the end, you will be treated to some bachelorette party pictures! Bow chicka-wow-wow…

The Bachelorette Party!

And now a little more about the bachelorette party, because it was quite an affair.

I was working since 9 that morning, so I missed the pregame where everyone got loosened up before the night’s activities.

So this anxious, introverted, socially awkward lady showed up stone sober for a two-hour improv class at the world-famous Second City Comedy Club. Somehow, I did not die.

Seester's Bachelorette Party

At Second City. We all know some really deep and personal things about each other now, even though some of us had never met before.

Seester's Bachelorette Party

Oh yes. …things…happened in this room. Seester is fourth from the left, by the way. She is fantastic at faces. I could make a whole photo album out of her purposely-ruined pictures.

Seester's Bachelorette Party

I finally got to meet fellow bridesmaid and blogger buddy Meg from Radical Possibility! She was forced to rant against the unicorn scourge.

Seester's Bachelorette Party

For a dinner game, Ms. Purple had asked my future brother-in-law some questions, and seester had to guess his answers. If she didn’t get them all right, she would have to wear these glasses all through dinner. Problem was, we all wanted to wear them.

Ms. Purple (otherwise known as Jessie) and I were quite enjoying this creepy mural at the bar afterward.

And that was about it. No strippers. But that’s just fine, we had a great time. There were phallic candy necklaces and glow bracelets though, so that was rad.

Check back later this week, because our engagement photos are almost ready!

What colors of the rainbow did you choose for your wedding?
