Coconut & Almond Milk | Three Ways

Coconut & Almond Milk Three Ways

As you may know, Papa Bear and I have been doing a cleanse for the last two weeks, and now we’re entering into the third. Some of the recipes call for a lot of almond milk and coconut milk, so we have had quite a lot on hand lately.

Turns out, I’m hooked. Really really hooked. I have been buying the Silk brand varieties of both, and although they’re both delicious straight (and my favorite, mixed together!), I wanted to find a few ways to dress them up even more!

Almond Milk with Chocolate Syrup

Baby Bear’s favorite, a little drizzle of chocolate syrup on the glass (not exactly “cleanse-worthy,” but still).

Coconut Milk with Lime

A little lighter and less sweet, but totally refreshing. You put the lime in the coconut…

My favorite, a blend of coconut and almond milk, not quite as rich as straight almond milk, topped off with a little grating of nutmeg and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

I’m just loving these dairy alternatives! What’s your favorite?

  1. Almond milk or coconut milk or one or the other and
Bit size hershey chocolate bars, heat milk up to your hottest liking
Drop in two or three or more hersheys, depending on your likeness of chocolatey tast.
Let sit for three or more minutes til melted then stir. This is my favorite way of having A
Glass of Almond coconut chocolate milk. Or for you who like white chocolate drop in three
Balls of white Lindt lindor chocolate!! You’ll be hooked!!! Yummy

Holy balls, that sounds delicious. White chocolate for me please!

  2. Question: The other day I boiled almond milk to make some hot chocolate and it thinned out as if it were water. eep! Has it ever happened to you? I’m lactose intolerant so I’m trying some new non-lactose filled drinks, lol

I think the boiling was the problem. Maybe try heating it slowly to temp, but not all the way to boiling?
