I have never been able to find a good way to store my necklaces.
I have a hanging slot in my armoire, but most of the necklaces I have are either too long or have too big of pendants to store without getting all tangled up. But then a big old branch broke off the tree in the back yard, and I had an idea.
And that idea was – pound some nails in it! So that’s pretty much what happened. I gave the branch a matte clear coat with spray paint, added some nails, and stuck it on the wall! The method of wall mounting will completely depend on the shape and size of your branch, but nails/screws and a power drill will be involved.
I could image this on my living room’s wall. It’s vivid orange (this color exactly Pantone Orange 021 U). Maybe some day
Just keep an eye out for branches. You never know when the perfect one will show up. We actually didn’t get around to making and mounting this for months after the branch fell.
